The Red Cedar Film Festival will showcase a variety of films for viewers.
A festival jury will be convened, comprised of film industry experts and film enthusiasts. They will view all the submitted films and determine which ones will be screened during the festival. They will also determine which films will receive awards.
A festival award will be presented for each category. The award will be named “The Copper Quill” and will be a cast metal replica of a traditional quill pen.
Filmmakers may submit films in competition for the following categories:
Best Narrative Feature Best Documentary Feature Best Narrative Short Best Documentary Short Best Midwest Roots Best Student Feature Best Student Short
Films not in competition will be screened as determined relevant by the festival jury.
All film entries will incur an entry fee. Admittance to film screenings will be through individual ticket sales or festival pass.
Passes will be offered at two levels, Film Enthusiast and VIP. The VIP pass will grant entry into all festival areas including a Filmakers Lounge and Opening Night Gala. Entry to the Gala will also be offered through separate admission.
